Check out our 'Gallery' page for picures from the Challenge. If you have photos or video of Philip and Peter that you would like to share you can email them to me at email@example.com with details of who, where and when.
We are delighted to announce that to date the grand total of £22,273 has been raised with £16,704.75 being donated to Steps and £5,568.25 to Cancer Research.
A big thank you to everyone who supported this challenge and donated.
In April and May of 2017 two 'self-styled' idiots, Philip Gibson and Peter Plehov, respectively the Chairman and Treasurer of BlueForce, undertook the Coastline Tractor Challenge. The joint aim was to celebrate100 years of tractor production started by Henry Ford, encompassing Ford, Fordson and New Holland machines built in Cork, Dagenham and now Basildon, and to raise money for Steps Care Centre and Cancer Research UK
Philip and Peter would like to thank New Holland who kindly lent them 2 New Holland tractors for the run. One towed a scratch built Shepherds Hut which provided accomodation (see Gallery page for pictures) and the other a trailor which carried supplies. Thanks also to ADR UK Tyremart Ltd who supplied the axles.
